Am I The Only One Who Is a Diehard Fan of the Champions Tour?

For me, I enjoy seeing the players I grew up with like Tom Watson, Tom Kite, Hale Irwin, etc. While it is not on the level of the regular tour obviously, the older guys can still play. My tv is basically permanently fixed on the golf channel so I watch a lot of Champions Tour events. I like it. Nick Price is one of my favorite golfers ever so to see him on the Champions tour is great.
Nick Price is great. I loved watching him at the Senior PGA! I would love to see Seve play well. My favorite Champions Tour players are: Price, Watson, Kite, Ray Floyd.
I’d like to see Faldo and Langer play actively. Greg Norman, I don’t care if he plays. Never cared much about him.
I think the problem with the Champions Tour is that most retired PGA pros don’t have incentive to play. In the 1970s, 1980s, prize money on the regular tour was much less. Today, retiring PGA regulars probably all have $10 million in the bank and don’t need to play Champions for a living.
I’d love to hear other opinions because I like the Champions Tour.
I love the Champion’s Tour - these guys still have game. Fred Funk is playing well on both the Champions and PGA tours right now - I like how they show the player’s carry distances with certain clubs when they are about to hit a shot, gives the viewer a good idea of what they hit and how far they hit it - Jim Thorpe, Nick Price, Craig Stadler, Allen Doyle, Lee Trevino - I love ‘em all and they still got skills!
