I’m in the process of selecting my first set of clubs and don;t know if i could buy a “senior” set and what it means. I’m not a senior. Also could they be legal at a tournament?

Question about golf shafts?

senior golf
A. Peaney asked:

I have a short game like a single digit handicapper, but off the tee I play like someone who can’t break 100! I am thinking of buying a Nike 13 degree Sumo driver. I hear they’re forgiving. I can get one with a senior shaft, and I’m wondering if that would work. I am 45 and slowing down a bit, but wonder if my swing speed is to fast for a senior shaft. (Unfortunately, I don’t know my swing speed.) Any thoughts?
I hit my 7 iron 150 ish.

Why is there so much golf on TV on Sundays? Are that many people into that poor excuse for a sport?

Document Guy asked:

I **** golf. I’ve been on swim team all my life, I love rock climbing, riding on the bike, doing trick on my rolller blades on the ramps. I love to play football and baseball. I used to do gymnastics, but I never got a good level.

When I see golf, I just find it STUPID. I think it should be great for senior citizens, but I could never understand why would young people play it.
There’s a lot of golf on TV, WHY????
I can’t understand why would anyone play. much less watch it?

Who watches all this golf coverage?
